Thermoplastics Filament winding
Filament winding is used to produce Composite structure by winding Thermopreg™ rovings over a rotating mandrel.

Rovings are pulled from a package through a tensioning device and into an infrared or convection oven to heat the Thermopreg™ from 200°C to 220°C.
A guide-eye positions the molten Thermopreg™ rovings onto the rotating mandrel, forming the composite.
Thermopreg™ efficiently reinforces plastic liners composed of the same Thermoplastic.
