Kitchen Appliance

By definition, most kitchen appliances are in contact with food (chef & food mixers/processors, bread and waffle makers, steamers & cookers, etc).

Typical parts in glass reinforced thermoplastics (GRTP) include small mechanical parts linked to the electric motors such as gear wheels as well as small structural parts and frames joined to hinges.
GRTP are used mainly for a combination of dimensional stability, temperature, chemical resistance and part consolidation as compared to other materials.
